The Laboratory Division produces equipment for the sterilization and decontamination of products used in the lab animal research facilities and research laboratories. Equipment and components as well as machines for sterilization with steam and decontamination with VHP. The products in this line are the perfect result of a strategic formula that calls for the implementation of advanced manufacturing methods, various control procedures and safe and reliable tests. The entire range is manufactured according to laboratory standards cGLP and FDA regulations, using high-quality industrial components. High-quality finishing is ensured for both the process surfaces as well as for the areas of interface between clean and non-clean zones. ICOS provides the client with technical support both during the manufacturing and testing phase of the machine, and furnishes complete documentation.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

 DOORS
• On the small sizes, doors of vertical movement by means of motorized timing belts which ensure quiet and precise operation during opening and closing phases

STRUCTURE AND MATERIALS
 
• The new ICOS autoclaves are characterized by a rectangular chamber, completely made of AISI 316L stainless steel and entirely covered by a full jacket system of dimple welded type
• The insulation is ensured by an innovative and practical textile covering
• The doors are made of AISI 316L stainless steel and are obtained from a single molding and have no welding
• This new ICOS chamber design ensures excellent performance during the sterilization cycle, optimizing and reducing water and steam consumption
 
SYSTEMS AND CONSUMPTIONS
 
• Piping made of AISI 316L stainless steel with hydraulic hygienic tri-clamp connections allowing easy maintenance of system
• Double stage vacuum pump
• The circuits for the chamber steam, jacket and door gaskets are distinct and independent
• The electrical version of the new steam generator is provided with an integrated water visual level and powers up to 100 kW
 
 
 INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
  
Easy and simple installation and maintenance processes thanks to:
• Base equipped with proper guides for easy and safe lifting and handling of the autoclave
• Height adjustable feet enable easy floor leveling of the autoclave
• Its modulare construction enables the reduction of overall width to facilitate access for installation

The new ICOS autoclaves are available in one or two door (pass-through) versions,with the following capacities:
 
430 litres; 560 litres; 680 litres; 700 litres; 850 litres; 1000 litres; 1250 litres
15 cu. ft.; 20 cu. ft.; 24 cu. ft.; 25 cu. ft.; 30 cu. ft.; 35 cu. ft.; 44 cu. ft.
 
 The steam of the autoclave can be supplied by:
1. House clean steam
2. electrical steam generator of built-in or remote installed type
3. indirect (steam to steam) steam generator of built-in or remote installed type
